Kouga Yun was born on July 9th, 1965 under the name of Kimura Risa. She is married to Tatsuneko, a another mangaka, and they have a daughter named Miyabi.
She has drawn various manga works, including her most well known series, Loveless. The first manga I knew by her was Earthian. She also created Gestalt, Genji, and the character designs to Sunrise's latest Gundam series, Kidou Senshi Gundam 00.
